When you give financially to support your Church and community its like saying “I want to be a part of something bigger than myself”. Its recognizing that everything you have comes from God and that it still belongs to God. Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 9:7 “ Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” Giving isn’t only about money but is also about growing in your walk with the lord and showing compassion and generosity as we are commanded to do!
